Ngada Regency, across the volcanic plateau beneath Mount Inerie in Flores, produces Arabica coffee known for deep chocolate sweetness, warm cinnamon spice, cedar-like woody notes, and a smooth black tea finish. The Bajawa highlands are shaped by fertile volcanic soil and cool mountain climate, while generations of Ngada farming communities continue cultivating coffee through traditional smallholder systems and the distinctive wet-hulled process locally known as “Ngura.”
