Bandung Regency and the Priangan highlands of West Java historically supplied Java coffee that became globally known through Dutch colonial trade. Modern interpretations of the historic Mocha Java blend combine single-origin Java/Indonesian beans (including volcanic highlands like Garut) with Ethiopian Yirgacheffe beans representing the Mocha component. This blend preserves the classic balance of chocolate richness, earthy sweetness, cedar warmth, and subtle fruity complexity, honoring the original 17th–18th century trade blend between Yemeni Mocha and Java coffee.
