Classic Arabica

Dampit District, within the southern volcanic highlands of Malang Regency, has long been recognized as one of East Java’s historic coffee-producing regions beneath the slopes of Mount Semeru. Cool mountain air, volcanic mineral soil, and humid tropical forests shape a coffee profile known for dark chocolate richness, caramelized sweetness, and soft citrus brightness. While Dampit became internationally associated with Java robusta during the colonial era, the higher elevation arabica lots surrounding southern Malang developed a cleaner and more refined cup profile with cocoa depth, tea-like elegance, and subtle floral character.
